That's right now you can strut your dance talent just like the stars you see on TV. Better yet you could get paid a lot of money for it!
Here's How it works!
  1. Learn a dance concept and pattern. (click here to find the available patterns.) OR Create your own.
  2. Send in in to be voted on and judged (attach video in .wmv,.mov,.mpeg4, or .3gp format).
  3. Become a dance star on the World's Largest smallest stage.
Overview
There are 2 categories in the game: solo and team. Each category has an amateur and pro division. In the solo level each player dances by themselves. In the team category the dancer chooses a partner or a team of partners.
Dancers choose from any video lesson at www.onthegostudio.com, learn that lesson and send in a video of themselves performing the material in the lesson.
Dancers can also submit their own dance creation.
Scoring
Each entry is scored by the following criteria:
  1. Number of votes (encourage your friends to come to duo and vote for your clip!)
  2. Number of downloads (total # number of downloads of the entry)
  3. Number of views (total unique visitor views)
  4. Judges criteria as listed below.
  5. How many dancers are in each piece (# of points equal to number of dancers in the piece).
Winner
New winners chosen every week according to the rules and scoring as defined below.
Cost
Each lesson downloaded from www.onthegostudio.com, $2 and there is a $5 fee per entry. You may enter as many times as you like. Each week the judges will select winners from the entrants of that week only. All entries will stay online for the year so that your friends can view and vote for the end of year contest.
Rules
  1. Entry video must be less than 1.5 minutes (90seconds)
  2. No vulgar lyrics
  3. No sexually explicit movements
  4. No copyrighted or otherwise protected material allowed to be submitted.
  5. Video formats accepted: .wmv, .mov, .3gp (from your cell phone.) To learn how to convert your video to these formats click here.
Submit an entry
There are 2 ways to submit an entry.
  1. Email it as an attachment to jesse@dancintime.com
  2. Upload the file directly from your computer. (this feature is under construction)
