Improve Physical Health: Exercise
From weights to diets, it's all out there. But there is nothing like moving around the dance floor with another person to get your heart rate up and all your muscles activating.

The first step on the path to dance success is understanding your body and how it works, how to control it. Good news you can practice this in everyday movement, it feels good and improves your confidence and stature. Understanding this phase is quick, inculcating it within your body may take a few months of practice.

Everyday we move forward and back and side to side. Movement is a normal part of everyday life. Purposefully controlling your movement is not however part of everyday life. Thinking of moving your body as one unit will help. You can do this while walking. If you think of your body as a pillar of strength with the focus around the midsection, stomach area. This is where your movement will begin and emanate from. Engaging your midsection is simple you experience it every time you laugh or even smile. Next, if you think of lifting that energy up through your vertebrae to the base of your skull. This will produce good posture and an energized body that is ready to move now that it is self connected.

Improve Mental Health
Keeping your brain working has been proven to extend your capacity. Dancing is a memory intensive activity and is great for your brain.
Express your Creativity
Like every art form the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Unlike other art forms dance allows you to create with your whole body from your head to your toes. Each muscle is used to interpret the music or connect with your partner. Then there is the thrill of others enjoying your dancing.

Studies of expression related to success, happiness.

Since the lessons are portable there is no specific daily or weekly time schedule to try to meet. Most importantly, the lessons are self-paced so no matter what speed you learn at it is ok!
What if I have two left feet?
Out teaching techniques are proven to help even those with two left feet. We begin each lesson feeling the rhythm of the dance without even moving our feet. As you grow as a dancer you will see how the feet actually are secondary to dancing. When most dance programs focus on the feet, we focus on your body which always moves before your feet so you get a true dance experience right from the beginning.
What if I am too old?
If a smile comes to your face and your toes start tapping when you hear a familiar tune then you may not be too old to dance. On the go dance studio provides easy to follow dance lessons that are self-paced so you can go at your own speed.
